Reading

I teach both remedial and enrichment reading. Whether your child is having trouble in school because s/he is behind or gifted and bored, I can help. With certain common types of reading difficulties, I use a combination of whole child (inspiration, encouragement) and a specific Orton-based program with clear instruction. This is the money back guarantee program.

Writing

Unlike my reading program, I have not found a writing program that fits all, or even a large portion of students. Writing is tied to reading, and reading well-written books in itself will improve your child’s writing. I say garbage in, garbage out. Or read great works of literature, and you are on your way to becoming a great student. I also work with rubrics for school assignment writing.

Language Arts
